Microgaming Secures BTG Megaways Deal for Upcoming Releases

Microgaming, one of the leading developers of slot games, has announced an important deal with a smaller but hugely popular studio Big Time Gaming (BTG). According to the details of the deal, Microgaming will be able to use the company’s proprietary Megaways mechanic in a number of their upcoming releases.

Exciting News for Slots’ Fans

In the recent years, Microgaming has done a lot to diversify its portfolio of games. The company has partnered with numerous smaller studios that agreed to work exclusively under the Microgaming brand. These partnerships have produced a stream of new and exciting games with top quality graphics and interesting, often unique features.

The latest deal with BTG will give Microgaming even more room for innovations. Big Time Gaming’s Megaways were a revolution of sorts in the world of online gambling, opening new possibilities to create games with a huge win potential.

The whole concept has been welcomed by the players and the operators alike, putting BTG on the map. So, acquiring the Megaways license is a natural next step for Microgaming, allowing the company to continue to build the games that players want to play.

First Titles Coming in 2021

According to the PR, the very first slot to feature Megaways should come early in 2021. The game in question is Shamrock Holmes. Although the slot is still being developed, it seems the game will feature six reels, up to 117,649 Megaways on any individual spin, and the maximum win of 28,000 times the stake. The bonus feature comes with the familiar multiplier increasing with each win.

Both companies are very excited about future prospects of working together. For Microgaming, this partnership provides them with even more tools to create exciting and engaging slots that modern-day players want and expect. For Big Time Gaming, this deal represents a significant step in their efforts to bring the Megaways revolution to the masses.
